Sando Wellness & Counseling was founded with the mission that client needs must come first. Our counselors offer the skill and attention necessary to develop meaningful, therapeutic relationships with each of our clients. Potential new clients are offered a free initial telehealth consult with the counselor of their choice, no going in blind to your first session. Get your questions answered upfront, see if one of our counselors is a good fit for you and that way you get the most out of every session from beginning to end.

Our counselors work with clients on a wide range of matters including:

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • adjustment and life transitions

  • addiction and chemical health

  • co-occurring disorders

  • trauma

  • attachment

  • grief and loss

  • transracial and transcultural adoption

  • identity

  • self-worth and self-esteem

Counselors at Sando Wellness offer new potential clients the option of having a free initial 15 minute consultation to see if we are a good fit for your needs and to answer any questions you may have. All of our sessions are currently provided via telehealth and your counselor will provide you with the log on information prior to your first meeting.

Before your first counseling session you will receive new client intake documents to be completed before your first session. Some of these documents include further information on counseling services, payment agreements, consent to services, and client privacy rights. Your first few sessions are time for you and your counselor to get to know each other and talk more about your hopes and goals for counseling. Because we do not require a diagnostic assessment to start services, you and your counselor can get to straight to work on the very first session and focus on the things you want to focus on.

At Sando Wellness & Counseling we foster equity, empowerment, and collaboration among professionals which translates into higher quality service and outcomes for our clients. We welcome potential new clients with a free initial consultation to determine if we will be the best fit to meet your specific needs. When you start services, you will be able to connect with your counselor directly regarding scheduling, questions, and other things that might come up in between sessions. We pride ourselves in being a small business which allows us the ability to truly meet people where they are at and individualize each client session.

“I use a positive psychology approach, identifying what is right with us in order to support and motivate change in the areas of our life that no longer serve us. I believe that mental health and wellness has to do with all areas of our lives and all aspects of self; something that cannot be captured in a diagnosis. I specialize in issues related to anxiety, depression, addiction and co-occurring disorders, as well as identity and trans-racial adoption. I work with individuals (teenage through adulthood), and couples."
